Thanks to K.E.ST.R.E.L Supporters

Lori Collier of MultiPrint and Becka Baker Hill. Lori and Becka designed the new K.E.ST.R.E.L brochure and MultiPrint provided printing. It's a wonderfully professional job!

World Series of Birding's Swarovski Team: Lynn Davidson and teammates Hal Wierenga, Louis Bevier and Paul O'Brien raised almost $1,200 for K.E.ST.R.E.L from their "Big Day". On May 1st, in 24 hours the team found an amazing 169 species just in Cape May County, NJ.

K.E.ST.R.E.L will use the Swarovski Team's donation for our educational materials.

Richmond Audubon Society: The Society contributed $500 toward the new modern computer which we will use to manage songbird banding records. This is Richmond Audubon's second major K.E.ST.R.E.L contribution. Last year the Society underwrote the cost of the songbird banding shelter.

Other Virginia bird clubs: In the last year alone these other clubs have generously supported K.E.ST.R.E.L's work.

Brooke Butler, K.E.ST.R.E.L News and Notes artist: Ask and you shall receive --- sometimes. In response to our request for a News and Notes illustrator, Harold Butler contacted us offering his sister's services for this issue. We expect that you are enjoying the result as much as we have.

Brooke is a recent honors graduate of Monacan High School in Chesterfield County where she was Student Body President. This Fall she begins studies at Virginia Commonwealth University and also this Fall we hope that she and Harold will make their first visit to Kiptopeke.
