Feather Blenny
Hyspoblennius hentzi

This small, aggressive fish with its feather-like fins is at home in this empty whelk shell as it is in the many crags and crevices of the oyster bar. Its dark exterior provides ample camouflage inside the shell. Aside from the feathery appendages, males are identified by the iridescent blue dot on the first dorsal.
